The Lullaby
League
The Lullaby
League was
among the first
to welcome Dorothy
to Munchkin Land
-- Here, the
League is a group
of GI veterans
whom we know and
trust enough to
have our "seal
of approval", as
it were. They're
identified by
"Lullaby
League"
under their name
on any post.
If you have
questions or
problems about
participating,
you're welcome
to write an LL
member for
advice. In
addition, there
is a
room for
contacting the
group publicly.

Amy:
A gentle, nurturing
woman who keeps a
special eye out for lost
little ones, and is
great at finding games
to keep them busy.

Aunt
Violet: A
British schoolteacher in real-life,
she is perfectly
prepared to head our
Elementary School. "I
hope to create as
closely as possible the
structure and learning
of an Early Years
educational
establishment, so that
those who missed it the
first time around, or
who wish to recreate it,
can have that experience." |

Chrissymarie: This
sweet girl belongs to her
Daddy, Papa Dave, and moderates
the
Depression and Related
Disorders area,
and its regular meetings. |

girl
(Lisa): A
quiet, thoughtful and
sensitive child, Lisa is
the poet laureate
of GI, and Unka Bobby's
beloved child. She's
naturally around 3 years
old, but slides upward to
12 or so, when she writes
or plays big sister to
younger kids. She lives
with her Daddy in their
suite. |

jayeyaye:
Treasured and proud
daughter of Hunter and MsOwl, 7 year old jayejaye loves to play
and go on adventures.
She can't wait for the
day when she can fly
like her Mummy but for
now she's happy playing
on the ground...and in
the trees...and in the
river...

Kels: Kels
can be very shy at
first, but a charmer
once she feels safe with
you. She loves
collecting rocks around
our shoreline, and is usually seen
carrying her beloved
kitten, BittyMouse. She
and her Bigperson also
run our Pet Place in the
Acadia Glen Center. |

Lucky_Daddy: Faithful
Daddy to our own sami,
LD is also a favorite
Uncle figure to sami's
many friends on the
Island...

MayLou: A
sweet and shy
pixie-girl, May's
smile is infectious,
especially when playing
with her dearest friends
on the Island. I keep a
special eye on her, so
please come
see me with any
concerns about her. She, in turn, has
wonderful wisdom to
share about living on
the Island.

Minxiemouse: Minxie
is a mature 12, helpful
and caring. She lives
with Daddy in England,
but often visits the
Island, and benefits
from the care of the
adults and playing with
all the other children.

Momma
Bear: MommaBear
is a nurse with a deep
love and caring heart.
She can be very loving
but will not tolerate
disobedience or
mouthiness in any form.
She does not like to be
"in the thick"
of things. She prefers
to hear all sides of the
story before she makes
an informed decision.
MommaBear is not swayed
by emotionalism but can
be emotional at times.
She loves to laugh and
loves to just
"listen"
without passing any judgment
at all. MommaBear has
the talent to defuse
volatile situations.
Most of all, MommaBear
is a ladybear who will
hug you in heartbeat if
that is needed or smack
your bottom if that is
what is needed.

sami: Lucky_Daddy's
beloved little girl, sami
is a soccer fiend and best
friends with several of
our favorite GI family,
not to mention her
dignified turtle, Mr.
Oliver Imas. |

Unka Bobby: Befuddled
and long-winded, he
stumbles around the
Snuggery most of the
time, asking people at
random where he is, and
how long he has to stay
there. Children
generally learn to just
smile and nod, since
he's largely
incomprehensible, though
does often have a wee
butterscotch for a child
who will remind him how
to get back to his
Study.

Groundskeeper
Willie: My fine
distant Scot
relative, maintains
the flawless grass
pathways which connect
all parts of the Island,
and cheerfully mops up
anything that
accidentally squirts out
of an Innerkid |

Chewbacca:
Our Chief of
Secureness is very
cuddly, and doesn't talk
much, but is on standby
to pitch anyone who
frightens or hurts an
Innerkid back to the
mainland, with a large
wooden catapult. |

Oompa
Loompas: A clan
of these Northern
Loompas was hired away
from their home on an
island off the coast of
Maine. They live in the
attic of the Snuggery,
are very shy, and
nocturnal, creeping out
when all are asleep to
do the cleaning and
upkeep. Very creative
and efficient, but only
rarely glimpsed... |
