Strangers

Strangers are those who come by, but who haven't registered to be actual Residents.

Strangers can visit most areas of the Island, and appraise most of what's going on, in order to better decide whether joining us as a Resident would be right for them.

Some parts of GI, however, are reserved for Residents only, and will not appear to Visitors, and they include:

* Control Panel features, which allow one to streamline performance on GI by toggling off the display of room illustrations, voice descriptions which appear in some areas, and other asthetic choices.

* Blogging rooms (which appear only to Residents).

* All rooms in the Sanctum area of the Community Center are visible only to full Residents.
