Privacy

One of GI's mottos is Safety, Healing, Innocence, and we have a number of features meant to aid in the Safety aspect, such as making your privacy a priority. Among them are these:

Invisible blog rooms: Both the Community Center blog room, and the Kittery blog room, are invisible to non-Residents, to aid in your ability to be candid.

Non-Residents cannot view the GI Memberlist, nor the World Map.

Both the Snuggery and Kittery have "Anonymous Rooms", wherein you can post without there being any link to your GI identity (note: if necessary, UB could trace IP addresses from logs and determine your GI Petname, but he has no interest in doing so unless this feature is abused, and promises not to).

Sections of a post in rooms which are normally visible to non-Residents can be made invisible to anyone who's not a Resident, with the [SPOILER] BBC tag.

Email addresses can be rendered invisible to everyone, via MY PROFILE > ISLAND OPTIONS and toggling it so.
