Visitors are those who come by, but who haven't registered to be actual Residents.

Visitors can visit most areas of the Island, and appraise most of what's going on, in order to better decide whether joining us as a Resident would be right for them.

Some parts of GI, however, are reserved for Residents only, and will not appear to Visitors, and they include:

* Control Panel features, which allow one to streamline performance on GI by toggling off the display of room illustrations, voice descriptions which appear in some areas, and other asthetic choices.

* Multiple "themes", from which one can select entirely different color schemes according to one's taste.

* Blogging rooms (which appear only to Residents).

* Playing games in the Arcade (though Visitors can view the arcade rooms).
